Advocates should be disruptors

Some of the time, at least. Accessible Travel Advocates is attempting to shift the balance of power in the travel industry, by empowering disabled people to access every one of their equal access rights.

ADA Taxis

Collecting data on access to accessible taxis

We are building the largest database on wheelchair taxi (un)availability, to be used in a nationwide campaign for ADA enforcement.

Air Complaints

Forcing the government to act

Through our campaign, we aim to double the number of disability-related complaints filed with the U.S. DOT in just one year.

Who We Are

We are a group of disabled people that is fed up with the way things are in the travel industry. Travel is too difficult, too unpredictable, and too exclusive to the able-bodied. It is not accessible.

We believe that accessibility must exist to empower every person to achieve their full potential, to reach for their dreams and to be involved in the life of society however they want to be - and to whatever extent they desire.

Our projects and campaigns will lead us to creating that reality. Companies within the travel industry will have to get on board or be left behind, because the future is accessible.
